Choosing a nursing home for yourself or a family member is never an easy process. There are a lot of factors that go into such a big decision, and one of these factors is finances. How will the nursing home stay be payed for, and what is covered under Medicare or Medicaid? And, once the answers to these questions are know, the next question becomes “which nursing home should be chosen?”

It may seem simple when it’s laid out like this, but it rarely is as simple as it seems. There are a lot of personal and emotional factors that go into each of these elements as well.
