Richard E. Romeo

Richard E. Romeo, Partner, has been in practice for 25 years. For the past 13 years he has been a partner in the firm and has focused exclusively on elder and disability law and residential real estate. He earned Bachelors and Masters degrees in Music before receiving his law degree from the Ohio State University in 1984. Rick is an active member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), and the Colorado Bar Elder Law Section. He is a regular presenter on legal issues of concern to the elderly, the disabled and their families.
A strong believer in giving back to the community, Rick is a past president of the board of Community Housing Partners, a non-profit organization aimed at providing vital services to elders and families in public housing. He currently serves on the board of the Golden West Foundation the fundraising arm of Golden West Senior Residences. Rick regularly performs pro bono legal work for low income clients and volunteers for Colorado Lawyers for the Arts.
When not working or volunteering, Rick enjoys spending time with his large family, including two grown children and 4 children adopted from Ethiopia, and making music. He can be seen each year on the stage of the Boulder Theater singing in the annual Christmas Revels.
